County Umpires
'Strike Out Cancer'
For the fourth straight year, the Chautauqua County Baseball Umpires' Association will be conducting its "Strike Out Cancer" week from April 23-28.
Baseball umpires will donate a portion of their fees to the American Cancer Society during this time period. In addition, the umpires will be wearing pink wrist bands to raise awareness for cancer research.
The check presentation to the ACS will take place Saturday, April 28 at Diethrick Park, just prior to the 1 p.m. Baseball Showcase game.
Kids Night Out
Fredonia State will host Kids Night Out tonight from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Fredonia State Steele Hall.
The event is for kids in grades 1-6. Activities include ames, swimming, activities and crafts.
Their will be concessions available. The cost is $10 per child - cash only.

Lakeshore Bowling meeting
The Dunkirk Lakeshore Bowling Association will hold a board meeting Sunday, April at 10 a.m. at Lucky Lanes.
This is an open meeting and any league bowler within the DLBA jurisdiction is welcome to attend.
Any director who is unable to attend is required to inform Association Manager Priscilla Seybold at 366-7161, or President Tom Battaglia at 785-7733.
