Kellie Lynn Smith of Fredonia and Robert John Richter were united in marriage on March 17, 2012. The ceremony took place in a helicopter that flew over Niagara Falls and the surrounding areas. The Rev. Ann Quinn officiated the ceremony, where rings and vows were exchanged.
The bride is the daughter of Kim and Rick DuBois of Fredonia and Kimberly "Smitty" Smith of Dunkirk. The groom is the son of Arlinda and Tom Crowell of Dunkirk and Andrew Richter of Conewango Valley.
A graduate of Fredonia High School, the bride is employed at home and the family farm. The groom graduated from Dunkirk High School. He is employed at Dunkirk Specialty Steel.
