Crystal Rose Layman and Mathias John Schrantz of Dunkirk announce their engagement.
Layman is the daughter of Robert and Patricia Layman of Dunkirk. Schrantz is the son of Dominick (Debbie) Schrantz and Tracy Smith of Dunkirk.
The future bride is a graduate of Forestville Central School and graduated from Alfred State College for court reporting. She is the relationship manager at KeyBank in Westfield.

A July 28, 2012 ceremony is planned to share their new life together in the presence of God, family and friends, with a reception immediately to follow.
