Lindsy Dloniak, daughter of Anthony Kucmierz and Jacqueline Dloniak-Kucmierz of Dunkirk, was named student of the month by the Rotary Club of Dunkirk. A senior at Dunkirk High School, she is involved in Student Council as events coordinator, SADD as events coordinator, is an Upward Bound Program class representative, co-president of the German Club, Lucky Lanes Junior Bowling, Girl Scouts and Chadwick Bay Academy of Dance. She also was the most valuable player on the Dunkirk High School bowling team. Next year, she plans to attend Jamestown Community College. The Rotary Club of Dunkirk meets on Tuesdays at Shorewood Country Club for lunch at 12:15 p.m.
