'Rockin' Autism Saturday at DHS

The "Rockin Autism" second annual Autism Awareness Walk and Event will be held Saturday at the Dunkirk Senior High School from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with registration for the walk at 10:30 a.m. The 1.5 mile walk begins at 11 a.m. The entry fee is $15 for adults, $12 for 6-14 years of age, and free for children under 5. All walk entries receive a T-shirt on the day of the walk and get into the concert free.

There will be live music by Sean Patrick McGraw, Gina V, and Nicky and Andy; face painting, cartoon characters, a silent auction and a bounce house. The Weidner chicken barbecue will be served from noon to 4 p.m., available for $8.

Dunkirk Chamber meets Wednesday

The Dunkirk Chamber of Commerce will hold a board meeting Wednesday at JCC North in Room 115 at 4 p.m. All members and non-members of the chamber are welcome to attend.

The group will discuss its Music on the Pier sponsorship and hear from county representatives regarding tourism initiatives.

The 2012 Chamber of Commerce Membership Drive continues through May.
