This Sunday, the church will be honoring mothers. There will be a special gift for each mother. Those who have the gift of mothering but have no children will also be honored. Some women are "mothering" their mothers or fathers as well as the people in their lives, and will join in thanking God for their faithfulness.
Shirley Anderson will be honored for her creation of the church directory. Anderson has single-handedly done all of the photos, editing and printing. Anderson and Madeline Baker have finished collating the directory, which contains pictures, addresses, phone numbers, birthdays and anniversaries.
In addition, Anderson prints all of the church bulletins, prepares the Power Point presentations each week, keeps all of the records, handles all correspondence, and fulfills all of the treasurer's duties as well.
On Wednesday, May 16, a movie night will be held at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is invited.
