American Legion 7, Hart Development 4

The Legion offense was led by Seth Schrader who recorded a double and then went yard and tallied four RBIs in the fifth with an out-of-the-park grand slam. Tyler Winchell had two hits including a triple. Also hitting safely for the Legion were Jamison Horch and D.J. Apthorp. Winchell was the starting pitcher while Jack Penharlow and Alec Schrader came in to relieve. Defensively, Joey Gullo made a game changing catch in centerfield to keep Hart in check.

Brandon Wallace and Cole Tippens led Hart's offense with two hits apiece. Lucas Voss contributed with a double and Mike Hobson, Chris Buchanan and Caleb Reynolds a single each. Voss pitched for Hart as he fanned 12 while Buchanan came in to pitch the fifth.

Dunkirk Minor Division

Dom Polski's 0

Dunkirk Falcons were led by Champ Texidor, Xavier Santos and Donovan Lockett as they all were 2 for 2 while Nathan Pakulski was a defensive standout.

Dom Polski's was led by Ikaika Wojcinski and Jimmy Hooten, who were each 2 for 2 while Nick Zatorski added a hit. Thompson was a defensive standout.

Fireman's Local 616

Lakeside Club hitters were Camron Torres and Cameron Goodwin. Defensive standout was Devin Farrington.

Fireman's hitters were Yeniel Alayon and Neil Ayuyao. Defensive standout was Payton Alessi.

Derek Roehner threw a one-hitter and Dylan Slaght and Cameron Pagano had two hits each. Chris Vancheri doubled for SCFD.

Cameron Pagano had four hits, including a homer. Stephen Romanik also had four hits and Zachary Rybak added three hits.

Dunkirk Little League Chicken Dinner

Dunkirk Little League will hold a chicken dinner Saturday, May 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Ed Wisniewski Little League Complex at Wright Park.

The cost is $8 and includes a 1/2 chicken, two sides and a roll. Proceeds will benefit the Little League Program. For more information, contact Gary Haase at 679-6929.

Black Watch Soccer

Black Watch Premier Soccer Club is offering skill development sessions for boys and girls 8-10 years old every Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Fredonia State University. Walk-ins are welcome. Players will receive Black Watch practice gear and warm-up jacket.

Forestville flingers' Wednesday night handicap singles horseshoe league will be starting Wednesday, May 16, beginning at 6 p.m.
