CHAUTAUQUA - The Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy invites all of its members and the public to participate in their annual Wildflower Walk on May 26 at 10:30 a.m.
This year's walk will take place along scenic Chautauqua Creek at Lake Erie, 8382 Schultz Drive in Westfield. Becky Nystrom, CWC Board Director and JCC Biology Professor, will lead the walk and point out the many beautiful wildflowers, ferns, trees, and springtime wildlife typically encountered in forested areas of the region. This walk is perfect for anyone interested in learning more about wildflowers and other natural wonders and is a great way to personally see and explore this important prospective conservation site," said CWC Executive Director John Jablonski III.
Participants should wear sturdy footwear and dress accordingly for the weather. Anyone interested in attending can pre-register by calling 664-2166 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. A $5 donation is suggested for non-members.
Becky Nystrom will lead CWC’s Annual Spring Wildflower Tour Satur-day.
