Rose J. Todd, 85, of Silver Creek, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at TLC Lake Shore Hospital in Irving, NY.
She was born April 6, 1927 in Silver Creek, the daughter of the late Samuel and Margaret (Valla) Ricotta.
A lifelong area resident, Rose was a homemaker and also worked as a switch-board operator for TLC Lake Shore Hospital.
She enjoyed dining out, going to the casinos and playing the slot machines, shopping and cooking.
Rose is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert W. Todd, a son, Michael Nelson of Silver Creek, a sister, Marie Swanson of Erie, Pa., and three grandchildren, Alicia, Joseph and Michael Nelson.
Services will be private. Arrangements made by the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel in Silver Creek.
