Editor, OBSERVER:
I was disappointed with the coverage regarding the Forestville Memorial Day services (May 29). The group of Legionnaires from the J. Carter Knapp Post 953 were not mentioned in the article.
This group led the parade with the flags, the firing squad and a group of 80-year-old and over veterans who walked from Park Street to the legion hall. This was their day. They deserve some recognition.
