Local band Devil's Half Acre will give a free performance this Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Fredonia Farmers' Market. Devil's Half Acre is a group of friends who began playing together three years ago. Original songs were written primarily by Judy Outlaw, the group's lead singer and rhythm guitar player.
Chris Outlaw and Steve Taylor round out the sound on slide and lead guitars, respectively, and Sarah Sorci contributes backup vocals. The Devil's Half Acre sound is a rock-folk-rootsy-bluegrass-psychedelic blend that is sure to enhance the farmers' market experience.
Vendors at the Fredonia Farmers' Market sell fresh produce, humanely raised meats, honey, maple products, free range eggs, goat milk products, bread and baked goods, fresh flowers, knit wear, beach glass jewelry, candles and more. SNAP benefits accepted for approved food items. The market is held Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Church Street. Events are posted weekly on the Fredonia Farmers' Market's Facebook page.
