LEON - The Leon Historical Society has planned upcoming summer events, to be held on Route 62 at the four corners at the museum and Leon Historical Church.
The second annual Cruise In and Garden Tour along the Amish Trail will be held on Saturday, July 14 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Registration is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is a registration fee of $15.
All are welcome to bring their favorite summertime ride, antique or classic. Clubs are welcome. Also planned are 50/50 raffles, a Chinese auction, cash prizes and more. The first drawing is for a flat screen TV. Lunch will be available. The museum/church will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The English and Amish Quilt Bee will be held Saturday, June 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be demonstrations on how quilting is done, plus other exhibits on patterns, plus much more. Refreshments will be available, including Amish baked goods. The museum will be open as well.
