Fredonia summer concerts announced
The village of Fredonia has announced its 2012 Gazebo Summer Concert Series lineup. Most of the shows will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays in Barker Common, with the exception of the July 6 date, which is a Friday.
Food purchases will be available during some of the shows from different Fredonia businesses. Guests may bring lawn chairs for greater comfort.
The show dates are:

July 11 - Steve, Charity and Amanda of Big Leg Emma
July 18 - Kokomo Time
July 25 - New Horizons Band
Aug. 1 - Loose Change Band

Fredonia High School Commencement June 24
Fredonia High School Commencement is June 24 at 1:30 p.m. at King Concert Hall, SUNY Fredonia.
Community yard sale in Forestville June 16
A community yard sale will be held in Forestville on June 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale is being planned by the Forestville Fall Festival Committee. Those interested in participating in the sale are asked to sign up as soon as possible at Cave's Market or Evans Bank. Maps will be available downtown. Call Carol at 965-2675 for more information.
Dunkirk-Fredonia Lions Cub meets Monday
The Dunkirk-Fredonia Lions Club will have a business/board meeting Monday at 6 p.m. at The White Inn in Fredonia. Plans for the upcoming Installation Banquet and the fair stand project will be discussed. Membership dues are due soon. For more information, call 366-7634 or 672-8509.
Silver Creek Village Board special meeting
