Cassadaga Village Board to meet Wednesday
On Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., the Cassadaga Village Board will have a workshop meeting to discuss the well l project. The meeting will take place in the village offices.
Forestville to flush water lines beginning Tuesday
The Village of Forestville will flush water lines beginning Tuesday at 8 p.m. through Thursday. Residents should expect cloudy water. Residents are urged to draw water that you may need before Tuesday. Water customers are advised NOT to draw hot water between Tuesday at 8 p.m. and Thursday until the flushing has been completed.
Dunkirk Library book sale June 16
The Friends of the Dunkirk Free Library will hold a used book sale on June 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the lower level of the library. Hard cover books will be $1, and paperback books will be 50 cents. All proceeds go to the Dunkirk Free Library to cover costs for programs in the Children's Room and other items that the library needs.
Father's Day barbecue to be held June 17
Father's Day Barbecue Buffet will be on June 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Cassadaga Memorial American Legion Post No. 1280, 228 Maple Ave., Cassadaga. There will be barbecue ribs, pork, beef, sausage and chicken, homemade macaroni and cheese, corn on the cob, potato and macaroni salads, tossed salad, baked beans, fresh fruits, Judy's jumbalaya and homemade strawberry shortcake with whipped cream. The cost is $15.95 for adults, $14.95 for seniors, $7.95 children 4 to 12 and free for children under 4. Eat in or take out is available. Brocton School PTSA to meet
BROCTON - Brocton School Parent Teacher Student Association will hold its annual year-end meeting on Monday at 7 p.m. in the elementary school library.
The purpose of this meeting is the election of officers and to plan the events PTSA will provide in the next school year.
