Hamlet Street playground opened

June 11, 2012
The OBSERVER

A new playground at the Hamlet Street Pavilion was opened this week. Jack Swartz, head of the Fredonia-Pomfret Recreation Department, said, "The Fredonia-Pomfret Parks Commission would like to thank the Milt Lupean Estate for the funding to make this new playground possible. The commission would also like to thank the Fredonia Streets Department for its work to get the playground ready for use. The playground is equipped with new rubber fall protection, a great new look for a new playground."
