MAYVILLE - The Mayville/-Chautauqua Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the concert schedule for the upcoming 2012 Entertainment in the Park Summer Concert Series.
Held Thursday evenings during July and August in Mayville, the performances will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and be held at two village locations.
Below is the list of performers, concert dates and location:
July 12 - The Dave Yuen Show (jazz classics, swing & memories) held at the Village Green Park, corner of Routes 394 and 430 intersection uptown Mayville
July 19 - Randy Graham (requests taken from a song list-performs various musical styles) held at Village Green Park, uptown Mayville
July 26 - Ken Hardley and The Henways (rock music of all kinds) held at Lakeside Park, on the shores of beautiful Chautauqua Lake along Route 394 in the Village of Mayville
Aug. 2 - Jackson Rohm (Acoustic-based Country/PopRock) held at Lakeside Park, Mayville
Aug. 9 - Generic Grass (bluegrass) held at Village Green Park, uptown Mayville
Aug. 16 - Skip Roberts and Emerald City Productions Present 'Gentlemen of Country Music' held at Village Green Park, uptown Mayville
Aug. 23 - Deuble & Vogan (1960's to present, original music) held at Lakeside Park, Mayville
Aug. 30 - The Lake Effect Park (All male a cappella group) held at Village Green Park, uptown Mayville
Rainbow the Clown, always a favorite with the children, will again be on hand for the July 26 and Aug. 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 performances to entertain the children with balloon sculptures and face painting. His unique balloon sculptures are certainly a work of art and will be a highlight for the children. In case of rain, the concerts will be held at the Carlson Community Center at Lakeside Park.
This annual concert series is brought to you free of charge through the generous funding and support by the Village of Mayville and Town of Chautauqua.
Remember to bring your own seating and be prepared to listen to some great musical performances.
