SILVER CREEK - The staff at Willow Creek Winery has been busy working on exciting new projects in preparation for the 2012 Summer Season. Willow Creek known for its Chocolate Temptations wine and outdoor events has been eagerly planning great things for the public to enjoy.
Since 2009, Willow Creek Winery has been offering its summer concert series, Jammin at the Creek, which features live music festivals all summer long. In addition to the national performing acts Willow Creek has this summer, it is announcing Homegrown Music Fridays, a Friday night concert series featuring local music from Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Erie counties. The series kicks off with Gina V. and Coal Train on Friday at 8 p.m.
"We (as a staff) at the winery have all been interested in and enjoy showcasing local talent and are excited we get to do more this summer," said Megan Tracey, Event Coordinator for Willow Creek Winery. "After a winter long planning session including going to watch bands play at various establishments, we are really happy with the summer lineup, and think there is a Friday for everyone."

Along with adding more music to the summer lineup, the workers at Willow Creek Winery have been vigorously planting, building, and beautifying the grounds. Outdoor projects include expanding their concert area from 2,500 people to 3,500 people, increasing the tent camping sites, and adding decorative fountains in their pond.
Actively planting and working on the grounds, Willow Creek has taken strategic steps in making a picturesque setting for the public to hike, fish, enjoy live music, picnic, and of course drink wine.

Willow Creek Winery is located at 2627 Chapin Road, Silver Creek. Hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 12 to 5pm.
