FORESTVILLE - On Saturday, a benefit "fun run" will be held in Forestville to support the Kaicher Children Scholarship.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the race will start at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $5.
The new high school parking lot near the auditorium entrance will be the Start/Finish Line to the 3.1 mile walk/run.
Acoustic music will be provided by Gina V. and Barry Edwards. A 50/50 raffle and gift basket raffle will also take place.
Julia, Caroline, and Luke are 11 years old and in the sixth grade at Forestville. They are the children of Cathy Harp Kaicher and the late Jim Kaicher, who passed away suddenly May 12. Cathy is an FCS alumna and Jim worked at Cliffstar/Cott Industries in Dunkirk. Gift basket donations are being accepted at Blessings Everywhere Studio. Call 965-2956 for more information.
