Fredonia parents
meeting
There will be a mandatory meeting for all Fredonia Central School athlete's parents on Tuesday, June 19 in the Fredonia Central School High School auditorium at 7 p.m.
This is an informational meeting for all parents who will have a student in grades 7-12 who may participate in a sport during the 2012-2013 school year. Those who can't make it must fill out and return a Parental Consent and Waiver Form, available in the High School office before the start of the next school year.
This form can also be printed off the school's web site.

Wednesday Travel League
WATERFORD, Pa. - Al Etzel, Bill Merryweather and Ron Szach all shot the low round of 80 at Fox Run Golf Club. The overall winner on a tiebreaker was Etzel, who also had the low front nine score of 37. Butch Mackowiak and Gary Richardson were one shot back (81 each), with Mackowiak leading the back nine with 38. Adam Gornikiewicz won the B Flight on a tiebreaker over Dennis Gawronski Sr. Jim Ellman Sr. won the C Flight on a tiebreaker over Jack Griswold. Winner of the Commissioner's Award was John Danforth.
Untied birdies were recorded by: A Flight - Ed Tofil (Nos. 1 and 11), Etzel (No. 6), John Bongiovanni (No. 13), Szach (No. 14), Joe Michalski (No. 15) and Mackowiak (No. 17); B Flight - Gornikiewicz (Nos. 3 and 7), Gary Hazelton (No. 4), John Waterman (Nos. 9 and 18), Dave Franklin (No. 12), Brian Lore (No. 15) and Pat Weaver (No. 17); C Flight - Joe Bifaro (No. 1), Ellman (Nos. 4 and 18), Gary Haase (No. 5), Doug Keith (No. 8), Bruce Chrabasz (No. 11), Griswold (No. 15) and Doug Newman (No. 16).
Closest to the pin were Etzel (No. 4), Bifaro (No. 8), Gawronski (No. 13) and Weaver (No. 17). Top point winners were Hazelton (33.5), Waterman (30) and Bongiovanni and Mackowiak (29 each). Season points leaders: 1) Bongiovanni (233.5), 2) Richardson (180.5), 3) Bob Thompson (159.5), 4) Paul Olkowski (135), 5) Griswold (132).
Next week the league travels to Beautiful Overlake in Girard, Pa. Tee-off is at 9:30 a.m. Golfers should sign up with Butch Mackowiak at 679-4027 by Monday.

Pinehurst ParTee Girls - Amy North fired a 45 for the low score of the evening with a birdie on No. 1. Lori Foster followed with a 46; Carolyn Rawlinson and sub Kathy Richmond had 48 and Pat Thompson had a 49. The low net scores went to Richmond (29), Foster (30), Kelly Crawford (32) and North (33). Michelle Crowell had longest putt on No. 8 and North was closest to the 150-yard marker on No. 1.

Women Who Golf For Fun - Lowest score was shot by Pat Daniels, followed by Linda Hodorowicz and Jane Ellman. Theresa Leone shot third. Special game winner was Kathy Kolo. The women will golf again next Wednesday gathering at 8:30 a.m., teeing off at 9 a.m. The women are reminded the June 20 event will be a shot-gun start. Golfing will then be followed by a luncheon at Wing City. In the event of rain, golfers will still meet at the clubhouse at noon and continue to lunch from there. Anyone interested in joining them will always be welcomed.
