By SHIRLEY PULAWSKI - OBSERVER Staff Writer , The OBSERVER

FORESTVILLE The Forestville Village Board of Trustees terminated their engineering services agreement with Tolman Engineering of Busti on Friday night.

In a very brief special meeting, three trustees present voted unanimously to direct Mayor Charles Brewster to terminate the contract effective June 15. Those in attendance consisted of the mayor, Deputy Mayor Beth Bowker and trustees Carol Woodward and Linda Aures.

Woodward said she was not aware of specific reasons for the termination other than general dissatisfaction with work to date and deferred to Brewster.

Brewster, whose only public contact information is the village office phone number, was not able to be reached for comment.

Several residents have brought water samples to recent village board meetings, reporting sediment in their municipal water.
