North Collins, Ripley girls lead list of all-stars

North Collins' Hannah Renaldo was named CCAA Division 4's Player of the Year recently while Ripley's Emilee Steger was the league's Pitcher of the Year.

Joining Renaldo on the first team were teammates Kayla Kron and Jessica Lawton while Ripley's Ryleigh Hawkins and Emily Trevelline were also First-Team selections. For Brocton, Julia Palmer and Jessica Putcher were named to the First Team, along with Jo-Linda Rhodes (Clymer), Lauren Eggleston (Clymer), Elle Reed (Sherman), Taylor Lloyd (Panama), Andrea Marsh (Panama) and Kirsten Green (Panama).

On the Second Team were: Rachel Gates (North Collins), Christine Blidy (North Collins), Kyle Mathis (North Collins), Kalisha Swoger (Ripley), Sam Judd (Ripley), Sam Kozlowski (Ripley), Rachel Riley (Brocton), Brittany Lenart (Panama), Jessica Leonard (Panama), Adrienne Frew (Sherman), Danielle Reinwald (Clymer), Kaeli Einink (Clymer) and Kaitlyn Snayczuk (West Valley).

Ripley’s Ryleigh Hawkins was named to a CCAA?Division 4 First Team all-star recently. The freshman helped the Lady Eagles to a share of the league title.

Honorable mention went to: Abby Richmond (North Collins), Beth Kibler (North Collins), Nicole Torrey (North Collins), Sam Trevelline (Ripley), Melanie McCutcheon (Ripley), Shanda Mellors (Ripley), Tatem Mielewski (Clymer), Carly McAfoose (Clymer), Samantha Delcamp (Sherman), Christina Rauh (Panama) and Askley Blackmon (West Valley).

Coach of the Year went to Ripley's Mike Torrance while the team Sportsmanship Award went to the Ripley Lady Eagles.
