Mobile food pantry will be in Collins

The Community Action Organization of Erie County, Inc. will have a mobile food pantry site at the L.K. Painter Community Center, 2355 Main St., Collins on the fourth Wednesday of the month starting June 27. The mobile site will be available from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. to town of Collins and village of Gowanda residents. All those who visit the pantry must provide, photo ID for the head of household, proof of household income, proof of residence in Erie County and identification for all other household members. Residents must also meet income eligibility requirements which are based on household size and income. Eligibility requirements are as follows: 1 - $13,612; 2 - $18,387; 3 - $23,162; 4 - $27,937; 5 - $32,712; 6 - $37,487; 7 - $42,262; 8 - $47,037; 9 - $51,812; 10 - $56,587; 11 - $61,362; 12 - $66,137. County Soil and Water to meet Thursday

The Chautauqua County Soil and Water Conservation District is holding its regular meeting of the directors on Thursday, June 28 at 8:30 a.m. at the Frank W. Bratt Ag Center, 3542 Turner Road, Jamestown.

Iroquois Legion plans annual Pow Wow

The Iroquois Post #1587 is hosting a Veterans Pow Wow from July 13 to 15. The theme of the event this year is "Honor All Veterans" and will be held at the Cattaraugus Community Center, 12767 Route 438, Irving. The event is looking for volunteers who would like to help out with the event on Saturday or Sunday with general event tasks. The event starts Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. and will go until evening. A grand entry is at noon both days as well as 7 p.m. on Saturday.
