Volunteers from the Dunkirk Rotary Club did their part to promote the development of the Dunkirk Harbor Front by planting flowers in beds along the lakefront pathway located behind the Senior Citizen High Rise. Club volunteers coordinated with Steve Neratko, Tony Gugino and Mike Porpiglia from the city of Dunkirk. Flowers were graciously donated by the Loyal Oak Greenhouse of Sheridan. Assistance with watering the flower garden was provided by residents of the high rise.
The Dunkirk Rotary Club is comprised of men and women who believe that "Service Is Above Self." The club meets each week for lunch to learn more about the community and to plan their service agenda. For more information contact Club President Jack D'Agostino at 366-3000.
