Inmate tied to death of two men in more trouble

MAYVILLE - A Jamestown man who is facing more than 31 years in the deaths of two men is in more trouble.

Chautauqua County sheriff's deputies say Gregory R. Pattison is alleged to have assaulted another inmate in the Chautauqua County Jail at 7:20 a.m. today. The inmate received facial injuries in addition to numerous bruising and swelling of the facial and head area.

Pattison was charged with second-degree assault in the incident and will be in town of Chautauqua court later.

Last week, Pattison, formerly of Jamestown, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree manslaughter for the deaths of Richard Alicea Jr. and Johnny T. Houston in 2001 in the town of Gerry.
