COLLINS Katherine H. Wait, 91, of Hillview Ave. passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Lakeshore Hospital in Irving, NY.
She was born February 20, 1921 in Montour Falls, NY, the the daughter of the late Murray and Mary House.
Mrs. Wait was married to James F. Wait who predeceased her. She was a stenographer at the Gowanda Psychiatric Center for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Gowanda, NY.
Mrs. Wait is survived by a son David (Katherine) Wait of Evans, Ga., and two daughters Lorraine (John) Mialki of Collins, NY and Linda (Greg Peters) Bromley of Little Valley, NY and three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Beside her husband, she was predeceased by her brother Robert House.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 11 a.m. from the Mentley Funeral Home, Inc., 105 East Main Street in Gowanda, NY.
