The annual Fly-In Breakfast, held by the Rotary Club of Dunkirk, will take place Sunday, July 8 at the Dunkirk Airport.
Included in the breakfast are eggs, sausage, pancakes as well as coffee or orange juice and milk. Old aircrafts will be on display as well as a silent auction and craft show.
Tickets to the event are $5 for adults and $3 for children - presale and at the door.
Mayville Library book sale
The Mayville Library will hold it's 40th annual book sale Friday, July 6 and Saturday, July 7. The sale will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and will be held at the library, 92 South Erie St., Mayville. A bag sale will take place on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. Donations are being accepted until July 3. For more information, call the library at 753-7362.
Pomfret special meeting Monday
A special meeting of the Pomfret Town Board to address North End Water District contract will be held at 5 p.m. at the Town Hall, 9 Day St., Fredonia. Please note the Town Clerk's Office will be closed all week and re-open on Monday, July 9.
