City police warn of invasion incident
Dunkirk police are cautioning residents against allowing people claiming to be with the utility company from entering their residence after a white male visited a city homeowner on Sunday.
Police say the person asked the homeowner if he could enter to read the utility meter inside the residence. Since the call was made on a Sunday, police believe it is unlikely the person was with a utility company.
An investigation into the incident is continuing.
