JAMESTOWN - Martin Road Christian Fellowship will be hosting a team of 30 people from Hartford Baptist Church in Hartford, Ala., July 7 through July 13. While in Jamestown, the team will be hosting a free meal and movie at Martin Road Christian Fellowship, free kids Bible camp at Bergman Park and a free baseball camp at Bergman Field. The movie "Courageous" will be shown at 6:15 p.m. following a free meal at 5:30, both at Martin Road Christian Fellowship.
Everyone of all ages are invited to attend. The free kids Bible Camp and baseball camp will both be from Monday, July 9 through Thursday, July 12 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. The Bible camp is for children who have completed kindergarten through sixth grade and will include music, crafts, snacks and bible stories. The baseball camp will be led by Coach Jarrod Wagner.
It will be for ages 5 through 18 and will include hitting, base-running, pitching and defense drills as well as short devotionals. All children in these age groups are invited to attend. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday morning at the site of the camps.
