EAST OTTO, NY - Richard "Dick" M. Bridges, 52, of East Otto, NY passed away Thursday, July, 5, 2012 in Cheektowaga, NY.
He was born October 7, 1959 in Gowanda, NY the son of the Richard (Penny) Bridges of Gowanda and the late Gale (Jacobs) Bailey.
He is survived by loving wife Cathie (Hintz) Bridges whom he has been together with for 35 years.
Besides his wife and father, he is survived by two sons, Bradley Bridges of West Valley, NY and Ryan Bridges of East Otto; his stepfather, Robert Bailey of Georgia; a brother, Corey Bridges of Hamburg, NY; a sister, Deborah Bridges of Florida; a stepbrother, John Bailey of Georgia; two step-sisters, Tina Pierce of Ole-an, NY and Marcia Reese of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 411 Rock City St., Little Valley, NY on Friday, July 13 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 14 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the East Otto Vol. Fire Department.
