Forestville Central School fifth-grade D.A.R.E. graduates

FORESTVILLE - The following fifth-grade students recently graduated from the Forestville Central School D.A.R.E. Program, which was instructed by Officer Rob Lazarczyk of the Village of Silver Creek Police Department.

Students completed the elementary component of the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program.

Upon completion of the program, students were presented certificates and T-shirts during a ceremony held June 21 in the district auditorium.

Mrs. Jennifer Dunn's Class: Travis Carpenter, Sylvea Cleary, Travis Drozdziel, Brandon Dunn, Phoenix Ferneza, Macadam Gadewoltz, Rachael Goodrich, Jonathan Latimore, Madison Miller, Victoria Moore, Cassidy Powers, Brandi Pryll, Macie Reid, Orlando Soto, Brooke Stanton, Luke Szumigala, Jaden Whitcomb, Paige Whitehill, and Mikala Worden.

In addition to being awarded for the completion of the D.A.R.E. program, one student from each classroom received special recognition as the D.A.R.E. Essay Award Winner. The Essay Award winners are as follows: Madison Miller of Mrs. Dunn's Class, and Rhianna Nasal of Miss Raichel's Class. The D.A.R.E. Essay Award winners were given an additional certificate, as well as a D.A.R.E. Essay Award Winner pin, and a gift card to Wal-Mart.
