Barbara Ann "Barb" Webster, 80, of Kewanee, IL, died at 1:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Waukesha, WI.
Barb was born May 16, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Oliver and Velma (Davis) Saunders. She grew up in Tipp City, Ohio and graduated from High School in 1950. She later graduated from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio with a B.S. degree in Business Education. Barb was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. It was in college that she met Lamont Webster. They were married on September 4, 1954 in Tipp City, Ohio.
Surviving are her husband Lamont of Kewanee, two sons Bradley (Heidi) Webster of Collierville, TN, Bruce (Kelley) Webster of Hartford, WI, a son-in-law William Kammerer of Waukesha, six grandchildren Bradley, Carley, Kelly, Libby, Andrew and Jamie and two sisters Judy (Kent) Kazmaier of Troy, Ohio and Mary Jo West of Dayton, Ohio.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents and two daughters, Susan and Ann.
Barb was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kewanee and the Berean Sunday School Class. She was an avid bridge player and played in several bridge clubs. She was an active member of the Kewanee Community and supported the work of the Kewanee Chamber of Commerce. Barb loved to read and was a member of the Library Book Study Club and Friends of the Library. Barb and Lamont traveled extensively and had visited six of the seven continents. She loved spending time with family and friends.
Graveside committal services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 14, 2012 in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fredonia, New York. Rev. Donald Howard of the Fredonia Baptist Church will officiate. A memorial service was held Monday, June 18, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Kewanee. Memorials may be directed to The First Baptist Church of Kewanee, Kewanee Public Library or an education fund for Barb's grandchildren. The Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home, Kewanee, IL, is in charge of arrangements.
