Mary A. Abers, 66, of Fredonia passed away Monday (July 16, 2012) at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
She was born July 15, 1946 in Austria, the daughter of the late Carl and Elisabeth (Roth) Abers.
Ms. Abers worked at Fredonia State College for many years.
She is survived by a son, Philip (Tami) Majcher of Lexington, Ky; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many friends.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday (July 21, 2012) at 10 a.m. at Pine Hill Cemetery in Gowanda, NY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 105 East Main Street in Gowanda, NY.
