Leigh Ellen Thrasher, 55, of 51 Sahle Place, Fredonia, NY died early Tuesday morning July 17, 2012 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Dunkirk on Jan. 5, 1957, the daughter of the late Lee and Elsie O'Connor Damon. A resident of Fredonia for the past four years, Mrs. Thrasher had formerly lived in East Aurora for approximately 25 years. She was the owner and president of Sem-Fab of WNY. She was a former member of the East Aurora Country Club and the East Aurora Garden Club. Leigh enjoyed her family and going camping in their motor home. Surviving are her hus-band, Scott Thrasher of Fredonia; three daughters, Lori (Zachary) Jones of Denver, Colo., Shannon (Kevin) Glavey of Fredonia and Stacey Thrasher of Manchester, N.H.; one son, Scott (Paula) Thrasher of Fredonia; five grandchildren, Tristan Moldenhauer, Evan Jones, Grace Glavey, Peyton Glavey and Jaden Jones; two sisters, Deanne
Tyszko and Barbara (Gerald) Newman, both of Dunkirk; one brother, Thomas (Mary Beth) Damon of Orlando, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Concetta Thrasher of Williamsville, NY.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Damon, in 1958. Funeral services will be

held Friday morning at 11 a.m. from the Newman Funeral Home Inc. The Rev. Clifford Cliver will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
