Silver Creek Farmers' Market Saturday
The Silver Creek Farmers' Market will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Village Square in downtown Silver Creek.
The Farmers' Market will be held every Saturday during these hours for the summer.
All are invited to stop by the new Silver Creek Farmers' Market.
Can and bottle drive set for Saturday
Brocton/Portland Midget Football will be having a can and bottle drive Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The event will be held at the Brocton fire hall. Cans and bottles can be dropped off or they can be picked up; call 467-3079 to arrange a pickup.
Laona Playground staffed days extended
The Fredonia-Pomfret Recreation Department announced the Laona playground staffed days have been extended. The playground will continue to be open between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. until Aug. 3, which will be the final day the playground will be staffed. Children dropped off will be under the supervision of Fredonia-Pomfret playground recreation attendants. Crafts and games will be provided.
