Garden Club to meet
The Evans Garden Club will meet at 6 p.m. Aug. 14 for a workshop on making Tufa basket planters. Members should bring a mid to large-size basket and a work shirt. For more information and location of the workshop, call 947-4571. Hostesses for the evening will be Pat Catalino, Joan Mahoney and Marjorie Page. Diane Benzing will provide the library arrangement.
The club will be exhibiting design and horticulture entries at the Erie County Fair.
Panama Class of 1982 to reunite
The Panama Central School Class of 1982 will hold its 30th class reunion on Saturday, Aug. 4 at the home of Valerie Covert Sutton on Barker Road, Niobe, N.Y., starting at 4 p.m. Participants are asked to bring a chair, dish to pass, and their own beverages.
