Antiques Group gathers for luncheon

July 28, 2012
The OBSERVER

The Antiques Group started many years ago as a "special interest group" offshoot of the SUNY Fredonia Faculty Dames. Long after the original group ended, the splinter group has continued monthly meetings. Now the members are a diverse group of women, no longer necessarily the wife of a college professor.

Since the year 2000, arrangements for meetings have been successfully completed by Sally Patterson. She now looks forward to just attending as a member and leaving the organizing to Barbara Servatius, Ann Murphy and Eleanor Bartlett.

The final meeting of 2011-2012 was a tour of the beautifully restored Fredonia Victorian home of the Greenawalts followed by a luncheon at Shorewood Country Club.

Among the members in the photo are original members Kris Beal, Ann Murphy, Alice Lord, Florence Barone and Boo Rowland.
