Emily Markham, a rising senior at Forestville, has received the Sage Colleges' distinguished designation as a "Student Sage" scholar.
Scholars are nominated by their high school guidance counselors and must exemplify Sage's motto, "To Be, To Know, To Do."
Award-winners are guaranteed a scholarship toward tuition at Russell Sage College or Sage College of Albany in recognition of their academic achievements and community involvement.
