In the article on the recent Sinclairville board meeting, Mike Livermore stated he was the endorsed Republican candidate for town of Charlotte Highway Superintendent.
This is incorrect. Mr. Livermore was interviewed by all of the members of the Republican Committee for the endorsement and was not chosen by the committee. The endorsed Republican candidate for Town of Charlotte Highway Superintendent is local contractor Mark LeBaron. Mr. LeBaron was chosen by the committee as the most qualified of those interviewed for the position.

Help needed
in Silver Creek
Editor, OBSERVER:
In my most recent letter to the editor I wrote that I had petitioned the Supreme Court of the state of New York for the removal of Kurt Lindstrom from the office of mayor of Silver Creek. I have received a reply from the clerk of the Appellate Court which has raised a number of complications some of which I cannot comprehend.
