Fredonia State Small Ice Games Hockey Camp
Fredonia State will host a hockey camp for boys and girls from Aug. 27-31.
For athletes ages 13 and up, the camp runs Monday through Friday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. For athletes between the ages of 5-12, the camp will be held Monday through Friday from 10-11:30 a.m.

The Ram Rodeo Series Rides Into Gerry
The 2012 Ram Rodeo Series is making a pit stop at the Gerry Volunteer Fire Department Arena from August 1-4 and will begin at 8:00 p.m. each night. Rodeo fans are invited to come down and saddle up with the cowboys to enjoy the legendary sport of rodeo and check out the newest Ram pickup trucks. Representatives from Ed Shults of Warren will be on site and all guests who visit the Ram Rodeo trailer or tent will be eligible to enter the Ram Rodeo Sweepstakes, a national giveaway for a chance to win $45,000 toward any eligible Chrysler Group vehicle. All participants who enter the national giveaway must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license.

Rowe, Witchey-Clements lead Runner of the Year series
Adam Rowe and Kylee Witchey-Clements currently lead the 2012 Chautauqua Striders Runner of the Year series. The series is sponsored by the WCA Center for Orthopedics, Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation. The top series performers after the Laurel Run 8K are as follows:
Overall male winners are as follows: Adam Rowe 25 points, Robbie Rappole 20, D. Scott Gregory 20, Joe Campbel 16, Jordan Boland 11.
