Editor, OBSERVER:
Jenn Suhr won the gold medal in the Summer Olympics in London. What an accomplishment!
No one around here will forget the day of Aug. 6, 2012, for a long time to come. There should be a day in the village park to celebrate her accomplishments as well as signs placed at the village's border proclaiming "Fredonia, Home of Jenn Suhr, Olympic Gold Medal Winner."
The people of Fredonia and Chautauqua County should be very, very proud of Jenn. I've lived here all my life and never would have dreamed that a person from Fredonia would have won a gold medal in the Olympics.
