Motorcycle accident leads to DWI charge

FINDLEY LAKE - A man has been charged with driving while intoxicated following an accident early Friday morning.

David R. Gordon, 60, of Findley Lake was charged with driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. Deputies responded to a motorcycle accident in the town of Mina on Route 430 at 12:40 a.m. The motorcycle slid out from underneath Gordon, caught fire and was destroyed. Through an investigation, it was determined Gordon was intoxicated.

He was taken into custody and later released on an appearance ticket for the Town of Mina Court. Findley Lake Fire Department also assisted on the scene.

Fredonia Police Department

Michael C. MacFarlane, 51, of Dunkirk was taken into custody on an arrest warrant Aug. 11. He was picked up in Dunkirk by Dunkirk Police and turned over to Fredonia Police at 2:50 a.m on a bench warrant. While in custody, MacFarlane was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana. He was then charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and held at Fredonia Police.

Daniel R. Dudzic, 37, of Water Street was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a .08 or more BAC and failure to obey traffic device on Aug. 12. At 2:50 a.m. Police observed Dudzic operating a pickup truck driving out an entrance only driveway in the west municipal parking lot. When police stopped Dudzic, he smelled of intoxicants, had slurred speech and bloodshot watery eyes. He failed several sobriety tests. His BAC was reportedly found to be a .20. He was released on an appearance ticket.

Jessica L. Carson, 20, of Falconer was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, having a suspended registration and operating with an unregistered vehicle on highway on Aug. 12. At 5:53 p.m. the license plate reader went off on Carson's vehicle as it was traveling on East Main Street. It was found her registration was suspended for an insurance lapse. She was released on her own recognizance.

Lorenzo S. Parnell, 24, and James Millhouse II, 26, both of Brigham Road were charged with violating the noise ordinance on Aug. 12. At 11:46 p.m. police were called to a Brigham Road apartment for the complaint of loud music. The two males had been previously warned about loud music. Both were released on appearance tickets.

Brandon M. Renckens, 19, of Chautauqua Road was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding on Aug. 15. At 5 p.m., police observed Renckens going 47 mph in a 30 mph zone. It was also found that he had a suspended license. He was released on an appearance ticket.

Robert J. Kaczor, 17, of Liberty Street was charged with having an open container, littering and unlawful possession of alcohol on Aug. 14. At 11:34 p.m. police observed Kaczor behind village hall with a beer bottle that he had thrown in the bushes. He was released on an appearance ticket.
