Melvin L. Gates III of Dunkirk and Taylor L. Gibbs of Fredonia were united in marriage at 5 p.m. on Aug. 5, 2012, at the Christ Community Church in Fredonia. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Harland J. West.
The bride is the daughter of Donald E. Gibbs II of Apex, N.C., and Kathleen M. Rankin of Dunkirk. The groom is the son of Linda Yerico of Dunkirk.
The bride was escorted by her father. Cameron C. Gates, daughter of the groom, served as flower girl. Savian L. Gates, son of the groom, served as ring bearer.
