Two Fredonia High School students attend Girls State

Briana Price and Megan Bleck were selected as Fredonia High School's Girls State representatives. They attended the program this summer.

Price, daughter of Kathy and David Price, is a senior at Fredonia High School. She is on the honor roll and is in the top 20 of her class. She has taken many advanced classes and has received three business awards through the FHS business program. She will be attending Fredonia State in the 3-1-3 program this fall. Price is a member of Fredonia's mock trial team and a Varsity Track and Field member. She also dances at Collage Performing Arts Center and is on the New York Majestic Dance Team. At Girls State, Brianna was elected by the county to be their district attorney and she was able to win all four of the mock trial cases. After graduation, she plans to continue her education at SUNY Fredonia with aspirations of becoming an attorney.

Bleck, daughter of Carol and Dave Bleck Jr., is a senior at Fredonia High School. She is a 3-1-3 student at SUNY Fredonia. She has been a golfer on the Fredonia Varsity Golf Team since seventh grade and qualified for state championship as a freshman and sophomore. Bleck was MVP her junior year. She also plays in the junior golf program at Shorewood Country Club and plays on Buffalo District Girls Travel Golf Clubs. She was junior class president on the student council. She is on the Key Club, is a lawyer in mock trial and is a writer for the school newspaper.
