From left, Laurel Hotelling is presented with a ceremonial check for $2,500 from members of NRG Dunkirk Power's Community Action Team: Bart Sobczyk, Anthony Kapuscinski and Dennis Pastor. NRG was a major sponsor of the 16th annual Laurel Run, which took place July 20 and 21. More than 500 people took part in the various walking, running and riding events held in conjunction with this year's Laurel Run. The event netted about $20,000 for TRC Foundation. The proceeds will be used in two ways: to support disability awareness and prevention efforts in Chautauqua County, and to provide employment and work training opportunities for people with disabilities. Laurel Run was created by Ms. Hotelling's parents, Wayne and Elaine Hotelling of Silver Creek.
