Adam Ossman, 21, of Dunkirk was charged with having a suspended registration and no insurance on Aug. 16. At 5:10 p.m. the license plate reader hit on Ossman's suspended registration on East Main Street. His registration was suspended due to having no insurance. The vehicle was towed. He was released on an appearance ticket.
Peter Wykstra, 50, of Holmes Place was charged with violating the noise ordinance Aug. 17. At 3:40 a.m. police received a loud music complaint at 22 Holmes Place. He was released on an appearance ticket.
Chelsea Elizabeth Wolfe, 21, of Liberty Street was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Aug. 17. At 11 p.m., police were conducting a parole check on another individual associated with Wolfe. The K-9 unit got a hit on a safe in the residence. Wolfe admitted having marijuana in the safe. She was released on an appearance ticket.
Tammy Snyder, 41, of Lakewood was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, failure to obey an officer and using a cell phone while driving on Aug. 16. At 4 p.m. Police observed Snyder speeding on Water Street. Snyder did not stop after police activated their lights. She said she did not hear their sirens. It was found her licensed was suspended for a failure to answer a summons in Sherman. She was released on her own recognizance.
Melanie I. Mancuso, 43, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and disobeying a traffic control on Aug. 19. At 2:25 a.m. police observed Mancuso exiting the west municipal parking lot through a one-way entrance. It was found her license was suspended for failure to pay fines out of Dunkirk. She was released on an appearance ticket.
Jamie L. Welka, 31, of Chautauqua Street was charged with violating the noise ordinance on Aug. 18. At 11:32 p.m. police were called to 33 Chautauqua St. for a noise complaint. When police arrived, they could hear music coming from the residence. Welka was released on an appearance ticket.
Joshua C. Lee, 21, of Stone Quarry Road was charged with an arrest warrant, speeding, license re-striction violation, having unsafe tires and no insurance Aug. 19. Police saw Lee traveling on Water Street. He had a bench warrant from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office for failure to pay fines. His vehicle was towed and he was released on cash bail.
