RIPLEY - On Wednesday, a North East, Pa. man on a motorcycle hit a tractor trailer head on in the town of Ripley and sustained only minor injuries after being ejected from the motorcycle.
Around 7:25 p.m. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident where a motorcycle and tractor trailer collided head on. Upon arrival and further investigation, it was determined that Aaron Craig, 26, of North East, was operating a motorcycle north on Route 76 and lost control of his motorcycle. Craig was ejected off the motorcycle which hit head on into a passing tractor trailer that was traveling in the opposite direction. Craig suffered minor road rash injuries and was treated at the scene. Craig was issued tickets for speed not reasonable or prudent and failure to keep right. He will appear in the Town of Ripley Court at a later date and time.
