The annual captains' meeting for the Lou Nocek Classic League will be at 8 p.m., at Lucky Lanes, in Fredonia, on Monday, Aug 27. All team captains and any new individual bowlers or new teams are urged to attend. It is a five-man scratch league, with a team average limit of 990. 4-Man League
The annual captains meeting for the Wednesday Nite 4-Man League will be at 7:30 p.m., at Lucky Lanes, in Fredonia, on Wednesday, Aug 29. All team captains and any new individual bowlers or new teams are urged to attend. For more information call Lucky Lanes at 673-1375.
Hammerhead
Swim Club
The Hammerhead Swim Club is a sanctioned member of the Niagara District of USA Swimming. The 2012-2013 season will begin Sept. 17 at 6:15 p.m. at the Fredonia State University pool in Steele Hall. The club is designed to instruct youth age 6-18 in the four basic stroke techniques and condition them for competitive swimming.

Gary Tripp Golf Tournament
Registration is now open for The Gary Tripp Memorial Golf Tournament being held Sunday, Sept. 9 at Shorewood Country Club.
The cost is $90 per golfer with dinner to follow at the Kosciuszko Club.
