Olga C. Lazarczyk

Olga C. Lazarczyk, 92, of Dunkirk died Sunday (Aug. 26, 2012) at the Gowanda Rehabilitation and Nursing Center with her family by her side.

She was born April 23, 1920 in Buffalo, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Iskra) Wyzykowski.

Together with her husband, Mrs. Lazarczyk operated Household Electric in Dunkirk.

She was a member of Birdie's Flock pinochle group, Dom Polski Club, Kosciuszko Polish Home and the Northern Chautauqua Conservation Club Auxiliary, of which she was a past officer.

An avid bingo player, she enjoyed gardening and trips to Las Vegas.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Lazarczyk of Sheridan; one son, Lawrence (Roberta) Lazarczyk of Silver Creek; two grandchildren, Karen Lazarczyk of Sheridan and Robert Lazarczyk of Silver Creek; one great grand-daughter, Sierra Davis; one sister, Alice Kieta of Buffalo; two brothers, Edmund and Ronald Wyzykowski, both of North Tonawanda; and nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Lazarczyk; one sister, Mary Ziemba; and one brother, Ted Wyzykowski.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock in the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. Vicar Kenneth Zitsch will officiate. Burial will be in Willowbrook Park Cemetery. Calling hours will be held today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 15 Porter Ave., Silver Creek or to your lo-cal public library.
