On Tuesday August 28, 2012 Joyce L. Johnson left to join the other angels. She passed with all her family and loved ones around her at her Cassadaga home.
Joyce was born on September 21, 1931 on the family farm in Cassadaga. She was a life time resident of Chautauqua County.
Joyce left behind her loving husband of 62 years, Richard K. Johnson; a son. Richard K. Johnson, Jr. (April); and a daughter Kathie D. Chaffee (Bion). She is survived by her grandsons Kenneth R. Johnson (Jason), Christopher D. Johnson, and Jonathan L. Easton (Catherine). She is also survived by her granddaughter, Shari J. Robbins (Keith), and her great-grandchildren Brenden C. and MacKenzie N. Robbins, Chelsea M. Johnson (Renee) and Donald H. Easton. Surviving also are her brothers Donald Bemus, Gilbert Bemus, and her sister Jean Stubbs, and many nieces and nephews. Joyce was predeceased by her mother, Cecil Bemus; her father, Louis Bemus and her brother Louis Bemus.

Joyce will be forever missed by her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Friends may call today 2-4 & 6-8pm at the LARSON-TIMKO FUNERAL HOME, 20 Central Avenue, Fredonia, where a funeral service will be held Friday morning at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the Cassadaga Cemetery.
