CATTARAUGUS/ ALLEGANY TERRITORIES The Seneca Party will hold its election of candidates caucus this coming Monday on both the Cattaraugus and Allegany Territories. Polling locations are at the Cattaraugus Territory Fire Department, 1520 Route 438, Irving and the Allegany Territory Fire Department 8184 E Loop Road, Salamanca. Polls are open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
In addition to caucus elections for president, treasurer and clerk, 26 candidates are currently running for eight open tribal councillor seats, four from the Cattaraugus and four from the Allegany Territories. The Nation's general election will be held on November 6.

In March 2012, the Seneca people elected new officers for the Original Seneca Party Cattaraugus Territory including Chairman Scott Snyder, Vice Chairman Ross John, Sr., Treasurer Trudy Jackson and Secretary Susanne Sanford. Rosemary Patterson was recently elected chair for the Allegany Territory.
